Every ICL trial runs as either a Boys’ or Girls’ category, shown clearly on the trial’s detail page and in search filters. Some states run both categories within the same age group as separate trials.
Teams are placed into groups and play each other in a round-robin format.
The top teams from each group advance directly to the semi-finals.
The two semi-final winners meet in the trial final at the main venue.
Exact match counts and dates vary by trial — always check the specific trial’s Format and Schedule tabs for confirmed details.
